So, what started out as a hobby, is quickly turning into a business venture.  Since 2014, I have been making tap handles for local breweries, local bars, home brew clubs, and friends, family and neighbors.

In 2019, production in my little garage shop boomed to over 2000 tap handles a year, which is about 200 a month (I take December off for family and to clean up, and part of the summer for vacation).  Through Covid, we saw even more growth, and there was never a time I was less than 3 months behind on orders..

In 2021, I started to look for shop space, and was ready to go full time.  But with no space available that was reasonably priced, or no space to be had that was close by, I realized life had other plans for me.  Now, with a full time job now, and other things to consider, it was time to wind it down a bit.

I’m currently not accepting new customers.  I have 5 breweries that I take care of.. but I still do commissions, and I still do some small production runs if there is time.  What I want to focus on over the next few years.

Tap handle making has been great for me.  I’ll continue to celebrate my love of craft beer, and with the next project, hopefully teach many others how to do it.  I would love nothing more than to see 100 more handle makers out there in the wild helping to be a part of the craft beer industry.  I hope you enjoy the next phase of my project.

I appreciate each and everyone of my customers who have been encouraging me along the way, and I sincerely hope you enjoy the videos and posts on my youtube channel once I get stuff listed.
